Who Qualifies To Get A Bursary Or University Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application system.
Applications are now open and may shut on 15 December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to fulfill the following criteria:
• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who arises from a home that has a combined gross residence income that doesn't exceed R350 000 for each annum.
• People with disabilities qualify if their combined house revenue will not exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients instantly qualify for funding and need not post any proof of income.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent citizens from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for nsfas check every annum.
